Here is another Bank Interview experience from one of our members. This was a real bank interview experience from one of our readers which was posted as comments here. Anyone willing to share their personal interview experiences related to interviews of any of the banks can sent me a comment below with the details. So here we go with the second interview model from Bank of India.
Name - yadagiri.
I have scored 188 and I belong to Andhra Pradesh. I was shortlisted for Bank of India interview and I was interviewed by a 6 member panel of bank of India on 13-06-2012, here is my experience
I was little bit tensed as it was my first bank interview, I enquired
to the persons who came out of the cabin after the interview, they said the panel is very jovial and they are asking only regarding our personal matters.
At last my turn came. I pushed the door and asked whether I can enter the cabin. They said yes and I wished all the panel members Good Afternoon.
Interviewer: My name actually consists of three words they have split that and asked what each refers to.
Then he saw my forehead with kunkum and asked me to which temple u went today.
Then he asked why u believes in God and asked some related questions on God.
I answered all of them.
Then he asked me about the Bank of India. I started telling the history of it. He stopped me and said don't tell all those things, you just tell me what does the logo of BOI represents.
I described the logo and said I don't know about the history behind the logo.
He said if I answered to this question you will definitely get the job, I was confused I started thinking but did not find any answer.
He then asked me how many continents are there in the world, I answered 7 then he said the 5 legs of the star (logo) represents that BOI is spread over 5 continents. I remained silent.
Then he asked me the difference between AC current and DC current. I answered.
He then wished me best of luck and I left the cabin. That’s all. The panel didn't ask me any banking related question.
If you had done your interview, please post your questions in the comments with the date of interview, venue of interview and your name. Your experience will help many to get a real model experience to prepare for the future interviews.
